The service provided is simply to allow members to both offer and search for car share opportunities, in a forum based environment. Users are advised to only divulge personal information, at its most essential time, and by either private message, email or phone call. Also before providing such information, they should ensure that they feel confident the fellow user is genuine - particularly as no checks are made upon registration. Whilst the forums & users are monitored, there may be times when it will not be possible to ensure they are free from potential threats, and members are advised to report any such matter immediately.

Links appear frequently on the site, both to internal Roadchums pages, and external sites all over the Web. As users have the ability to post their own links, we wish to advise that this is purely an addition to the forum base.

For carsharing you must be a fully insured driver, and advise your insurance provider that you are offering a lift share, and participating in this car sharing site. Although we cannot guarantee this, it is unlikely that an additional cost will be incurred for informing them this (overcharging a passenger could invalidate your insurance however), as you are insured to transport passengers as standard.
