5 out of 5 stars Great value and features, a Best Buy   August 19, 2010
Mr. Steven F. Whitehorn (San Antonio, Tx)
This inflator is much quieter than my previous one and has a convenient flashlight for emergency use. If you will lay the unit flat on the ground with the gauge and controls facing up, like it is designned to be used, "walking" is not a problem. Even though the gauge itself is hard to read, it is accurate and will inflate tires much quicker than most inflators at this price. I actually paid a mere $15 at my local Walmart. You would be hard pressed to beat the dollar value of this unit. Finally, I like the compact size and extra inflators for bicycles and sports balls (soccer, footbal, basketball, etc.)

4 out of 5 stars Product great delivery days late!   August 7, 2010
Howard G. Sachs (San Diego CA)
The product seems to work as advertised and does exactly what I want. This is for a Corvette that does not have a spare tire and no run flat tires. The product was purchased for a 1000 mile trip and two day delivery was offered. I paid extra for the delivery and it showed up 5 days later and after the trip, fortunately I did not get a flat on the way.

4 out of 5 stars Economical Compressor   July 26, 2010
Casse Riggin (Helena, MT)
This compressor has alot of nice additional features, for the cost of a basic small compressor. The light is nice, and the gauge right on the outside what nice also. I was initially worried that the cord to plug it in may not be long enough to reach around the car, but it was plenty long! Easy to use. Good deal for the money.

4 out of 5 stars Great For Bicycles   June 2, 2010
Rob W. (Florida)
Whoa! Look at all the negative reviews. I probably would not have bought this compressor if I had read them first.

After getting my bicycle in shape to use again, I needed a new bike pump. So I bought the Slime COMP03 12-Volt Air Compressor with Gauge and Light. I have to say that it's worked fine for pumping up bicycles as well as car tires.

I don't abuse my tools and accessories so maybe that's why they last me longer. I will admit that this compressor is LOUD! I have to put my fingers in my ears or wear ear plugs. It really screams! But it gets the job done.

Another issue is that to get the nozzle off the tube stem, you really have to yank on it or much of your air escapes before it comes off. So I over inflate by 5 lbs. of pressure and that usually works in getting exactly the right amount for my bike tires.

And yes, it does jump all over the place so I just lay it down in the car or on the garage floor until it's done.

If you can live with all of that, then this compressor may work for you. My recommendation is to buy it from a quality store, like Amazon.com, so that just in case it does not work out for you, it can be returned.

1 out of 5 stars Piece of Junk at any price   May 28, 2010
Glenn Miller (Ca,USA)
Woke up and saw my tire was flat....almost on the rim...went to another low cost store(Sorry amazon) to get an inflater.well to make a long story short it took longer then 12 mins to pump up one tire to 32 PSI when the tire needed 45 PSI and it started smoking, made a poping sound and started loosing air from the tire through the compressor...I lost the recipt so this went in the trash after 1 tire....NOT a good deal!!
